Resetting adaptation vales
« on: July 24, 2018, 02:53:01 PM »
Hi all - new to the forum.

I have a 2016 s1000rr and am looking to reset the Knock sensor, throttle values twist-grip, fuel mixture adaptation values.  My question is - do I just follow the instructions on the GS-911 or are there other procedures that must also be carried out.  I've seen a post that says the bike needs to be left on idle until the fan switches on then off after resetting them.  I have the service manual but cannot find any reference to this.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.
Dave
