You guys are just the best. Battery fully charged so I did exactly what you suggested and WOW the autoscan shows NO error codes at all. What a brilliant result I cannot thank you enough.
My son has a 2005 1200 GS with the servo ABS brakes. Can I ask.....do I flush the brakes in exactly the same way that I have done my RT? Or does the electric servo require a different procedure?
Sorry so many questions!
Again thanks a million Jughead and Schuppi😃

No, the servo assisted brake are another ball game altogether.
The system actually has 4 circuits with 4 different reservoirs, the 2 plastics ones you can see on the RHS of the handlebars and the one on the RHS of the rear subframe, and 2 on the pump itself.
Circuits are as follows:
Front control circuit (From the front brake lever to the pump)
Front wheel circuit (From the pump to the front wheel)
Rear control circuit (From the brake pedal to the pump)
Rear wheel circuit (From the pump to the rear wheel)
You need to remove the tank, unplug the plug on the pump controller, and the bleed the front control circuit on the pump. There are 6 bleed nipples on the pump, 3 for the front and 3 for the rear. They are not in order!
Then bleed the rear control circuit.
Now plug the plug back into the controller. Remove the caps on the reservoirs on the pump and fit a funnel to the front circuit. Turn on the ignition, fill the funnel halfway with fluid, crack the bleed nipple on the front caliper open and squeeze the front brake lever. The pump will activate and pump the fluid out, automatically replacing it with the fluid in the funnel.
Close it all up again and do the same with the rear circuit.
