Anyone using iOS 10.2.1 to connect to GS-911?

Dr. Greg:
I've tracked down my problem to iOS 10.2.1

My wife's old iPad (running iOS 9.3.5) connects just fine.  But none of our Apple mobile devices running iOS 10.2 will connect.  Curse you, Apple!

Is anyone using iOS 10.2 to communicate with GS-911?  I've tried everything.  Surely I must not be the only one with this problem...

 So I used my wives iphone SE, 10.2.1 and did a autoscan on my 15 r12gs and it worked no problem, (no faults) then played around on a random controller and everything seems to work ok for me. I also did the same thing on my old beater iphone 4, 7.1.2 and same results.

Yes, I am in touch with Hex; actually that's the first place I went...they try their best, but I doubt they can solve my problem.

And thanks, GS Jim, I think the problem is the COMBINATION of iOS 10.2.1 and my iPhone 5S.  Phone too old, iOS too new.  I can't change the OS (can't downgrade, at least not easily), and I don't wanna buy a new phone.

So I guess I'm just stuck.

I'm not the best at these things but it seems that 10.2.1 works and my old i4 also works so I don't see why the 5s shouldn't. They are still a current phone and are still being supported. Are you sure you are not missing something? Can you post a screen shot or something that you are getting? do other functions work?
