BMW C650GT Scooter question
« on: September 17, 2016, 06:34:20 PM »
I have not yet bought a GS-911.  Will it allow me to correct this error?  I replaced the battery.  My windshield no longer operates.  The BMW forum claims that the dealer can correct this problem with an ECM update.  I don't think the GS has access to BMW's proprietary software.  I will buy the GS if it will correct my problem.

Look at the function chart to determine what the GS911 can do for your model, http://www.hexcode.co.za/products/gs-911/function-chart, click on the ECU's to see the GS911 functionality within an ECU. Support for the C650GT looks pretty complete

Where you replaced a battery it is more likely that the windscreen requires calibration, for someone to advise that then requires an ECU update is illogical
