First Service
« on: September 14, 2016, 11:44:28 PM »
Just carried out my first major service on my R1200GSA 2013 (oil cooled) including;

check fault codes, changed bar to psi and date format etc. (gs911 required)
oil  / filter change
valve clearances
final drive oil change
gearbox oil change
final drive spines lubrication
brake fluid change (gs911 required)
exhaust flap maintenance (gs911 required)
reset the service date / mileage (gs911 required)

I have documented the part numbers, torque settings, procedure/order required, GS911 menus etc....

Not finished all the steps (need some more pictures taking) but if any one is interested in the information to date and wants to add to the information / check the procedures let me know and I will post the PDF on the web ...

Still to document fully is
  Spark plug change
  air filter change
  generator belt change
  throttle body synchronisation.

The GS911 was a great help and made the service possible ...
