Bike won't start after using GS 911
« on: June 04, 2014, 08:30:37 AM »
Hi all, this is for a 2004 R 1150 R and we are with a professionnal GS-911 model

After connecting the GS-911 to the bike for an autoscan, I decided to go threw each feature to check. Arrived on Hall Sensor Signal Test, I believed (because I don't really remember if I did it or not) I pressed the Start button but finally didn't went threw the whole test. And now the bike won't start, I have a lack of pressure on the injectors, just like the bike was always in the state of test where it's impossible to start the bike.

So I replug after the GS-911 to redo the whole test, with the blue squares on the display when correct. And the bike will still not start. And there is a lack of pressure on the injectors.

During the test I upgraded my GS-911 to the latest beta version and, today, I'm not sure it was a good idea because the auto scan just gives me a very small amount of information...  :(

With the previous version I had, in the Realtime Data, the Fuel pump was Off. Is it normal ? How could I change that?

First of all I need the bike to run, so if anybody have an idea to bring back pressure in those injectors, I'll be happy  ;)

I am happy you found the fault!
(I did read your first mail but as my bike is so different from yours I had no way to help.)
Can you please explain abit more of what the fault actually was?
Maybe broken wires to the pump?

In fact the fault was a hose pulled off in the tank just after the gas filter. The lesson could be, don't push the start button if outside gas hoses coming from the tank are tightly closed by plastic pliers.

Need Help with a R1150GS. Pressed Start on the Hall Sensor Signal Test, then tried to cancel it.  Bike will NOT start, no spark.

What have I done, and is there any way to reset the ECU so the bike will start???

follow up - Removed fuse 5 (Motronic) left it out over night, bike started right up this a.m.

Thanks for the help. :)
