Hello everyone, I just received my new wifi gs911 pro, for our two bikes:
BMW F800 GS Triple Black 2012
BMW R1200 GS Triple Black 2011

And already some questions
about the 800 GS sometimes both heated grip do not want to work, you must turn off the bike, re start and then it becomes hot again ...

The GS-911 says:

41784 : Right heated grip malfunction, short-circuit
the fault is not présent now
this fault occured 16 times
logistic counter: 36
Symptom: signal or value over threshold
MIL set: No

it would seem that the fault returns from a battery voltage too low,
but the bike starts well and runs for several hours when the fault happens.
What "logistic counter 36" and "MIL set: No" ?
Can we change the cutoff value?
I read on another forum a similar breakdown, the guy put a new battery and the fault is still there, by intermittent....

Hello and welcome to GS911-Forum.

 Right heated grip malfunction, short-circuit > measuring of the grips (10 Ohms)
                                                                     > checking wiring and connectors
                                                                     > power outlet of the ZFE
Fault will be set when there is no load on control module output, maybe the grips are interrupted if they warmed up.

 "logistic counter 36" > counter of the module for setting if static or intermitting

MIL set:  Malfunction Indicator Lamp > No   > thats not security-relevant

I think that seems to be 2 new grips and please check battery voltage directly. there are often differences
by readings of the modules.

Hello Schuppi and thank you first for your quick response. Faster than my testing!

So I tested the handles disconnected and all is good ......
And this week the solution arrived alone, the original BMW battery died. She 12V but no intensity !
So I mounted a new battery and I commit with GS-911 to zero defects, and we see with the winter cold (or space cold ;-) if it comes back again.
